The mosaic floors, the nave was paved with a polychrome mosaic and the apse with a mosaic floor made of white tesserae. The nave mosaic (fig. 2) was made of tesserae in three colors: white, black and red. The decoration is geometric. This mosaic floor can be dated on stylistic grounds to the second half of the sixth century. |
