Dos mosaicos sirios con perros de caza de la colección Clos de Barcelona

Two Syrian mosaics from the Collection Clos represent hunting dogs. Parallels are found in the representations of dogs from Syria and the Orient. The little flower decoration in the background also is typical of the mosaics of the Orient since the Vth century. There are very many examples of representations with myths and of mosaics with flowers in Orient. This theme of flowers never exists in the mosaics from the West.
