The paper gives a brief summary of the Turkish excavations carried out in Salamis since 1999. Among the main edifices revealed are: Roman baths, colonnaded street and two buildings from the Late Antique period.
The works also included conservation of the floor decoration, esp. the opus sectile floors in the palaestra of the bath-gymnasium complex, the baptistry section of the Basilica of Campanopetra and Tepidarium 1 in the Roman baths. |
