A roman building was partially unearthed in 10 Charalampi and G. Roufou str. There was found a shallow basin with marble revetment on its vertical surfaces and mosaic at its bottom. The mosaic features mainly intersecting circles forming quatrefoils around a central motif formed with lozenges. The outer bands consist of a strip with stepped triangles and a strip of pairs of heart-shaped leaves interconnected by means of circles. |
