The triclinium of a building that was found in Agias Sophias and Sophocleous str. is paved with a mosaic consisting of a circular emblem in the centre of the floor and swastikas and other geometrical motifs in the triangular surfaces formed between the central circle and the rectangular frame of the composition. Another mosaic depicts multicoloured cubes rendered in perspective. The atrium of the same building was paved with marble slabs. |
