Rescue excavation exposed four rooms of a Roman bath complex, two of which were paved with geometric mosaics. One was carried out in mixed materials (pebbles, terracotta, and other stones), the other in pieces of terracotta set in waterproof mortar (fig. 76). The site was in use during the 2nd and 3rd centuries AD. |
