Excavations in the lower city church. The inner dome of the baptisterium was probably originally decorated with glass mosaics. The baptisterium underwent a renovation in late 9th / early 10 th c. The baptismal pool was filled, the upper surface of this area as well as the floor were paved with opus sectile. Mention of glass tesserae among small finds. |
