Mention of a room excavated in 2000 outside of the east stoa of the North Agora. The room is paved with Late Roman geometric mosaic (opus tessellatum). The excavations in 2004 (Trench NAg 04.2) showed that the room was very large (at least 12.5 x 15 m) and was repaved in marble in a later period. Late Roman opus sectile pavement was found in a trench (Trench NAg 04.3) on the south east corner of the agora. |
