Excavations in Area A, Church 2 (S7 / VIII-k2). Fragments of opus sectile in various sizes, form and style show that the pavement of the building was probably decorated with mosaics. Excavations and a sounding at the « Mosaic Building » (S8 / VII), a building complex with 10 rooms symmetrically arranged around the central room (Room D). The building probably had two floors, the central room (Room D) had only one floor and was probably covered with a dome. Remains of opus tessellatum mosaics belong to the floor decoration of the upper level. Geometric and floral motifs as well as animal depictions. Late Roman period. Excavations in Church 4 (S5 / XI-k4), a church with a basilical plan situated south of the entrance to the northern necropolis. Two main phases can be identified. In the northern aisle (belonging to phase 1) remains of a mosaic (opus tessellatum) floor have been revealed in a sounding. The revealed part of the mosaic is decorated with svastika meanders and quadrilobe of peltae around a quatrefoil. Probably end of 5th / beginning of 6th c. A.D.
