Early Byzantine Church A, situated app. 2,5 km east of the Byzantinian city walls. Whole floor of the church is paved with opus tessellatum mosaics with animal depictions. These are probably works of foreign mosaic artists. Early Byzantine Church B, where rescue excavations were conducted by Karadeniz Ereğli Museum in 2003. This church is also decorated with mosaics. In the naos, directly in front of the bema is a depiction of rivers of the Bible (Geon, Phison, Tigris and Euphrates). Bath A, situated in the city center. Geometric mosaic of 5th c. A.D. decorating the floor of Room 10. In 2007, the continuation of this mosaic has been revealed. Bath B. A monumental bath complex situated at the entrance of the Hacıahmetler Area. Floor decoration with geometric opus tessellatum mosaics. 10 m north of Bath B, another building has been excavated, also decorated with geometric floor mosaics. The relationship between Bath B and this new building will be revealed during the coming excavations. Mention of unidentified buildings decorated with mosaic pavements.
