The article presents and discusses mosaics from an Early Byzantinian monastery in Torba / Bodrum. The complex includes a chapel, a monk / bishop’s house, a large basilica, baths and a cistern all of which were originally paved with mosaics. These pavements are decorated mainly with geometric patterns, floral motifs are used as border patterns or fill motifs. The similarity of decorative repertoire and execution with mosaics from Halikarnassos (Bodrum) and the neighbouring islands, suggest that these pavements were products of the same workshop.
