Excavations in the agora, beside the fornix doorway revealed the first two rooms opening on to the portico. White, black and red tesserae belonging to a floor mosaic have been found in the second room. Reliable evidence shows that a severe fire affected the eastern side of the agora in the second half of the 3rd c. A.D. Restoration works in « House of Mosaics ». |
