Area of the agora and the Byzantine Church : Excavation of the opus tessellatum mosaic in the southern nave has continued. Further details of the design have revealed such as a geometric frame and images of sea creatures.
Area of the circular building : Numerous fragments of opus sectile have been evealed in the area west of the building. These pieces form vegetal and floral patterns, as leafs, pomegranates etc.
Restoration of the opus sectile floors of the basilica in the agora and of the baptismal pool. |
