Excavations in the area west of Building B (bishop’s residence) in the northern courtyard. Opus sectile pavement has been revealed in trench nr. Bb-32e. Among small finds, 423 tesserae belonging to opus tessellatum pavements and 39 geometric opus sectile fragments have been recorded. Restoration of the opus sectile pavements decorating the three chapels in the southeast of the church as well as the pavement east of the central aisle. |
