Restauratorsko-konzervatorski radovi na kasnoantičkom mozaiku u kapeli Sv. Ivana u samostanu Sv. Franje u Puli [Restoration-conservation work on a Late Roman mosaic in the Chapel of St. John in the monastery of St. Francis at Pula]

In 2009, the Achaeological Museum of Istria (AMI) and the Croatian Conservation Institute (CCI) conducted a series of rescue conservation operations on the Roman mosaic located in the Chapel of St. John in the monastery of St. Francis at Pula. The article presents the state of the mosaic at the beginning of the intervention and the course of the conservation-restoration work; it then continues with a description of the finished conservation and restoration work, concluding with a review of the documentation at hand and the laboratory analyses performed.
