Report of the discovery and excavation of a mosaic pavement, together with the remains of other parts of a Roman villa. The mosaic is illustrated by a drawing (fig. 2) and ascribed to the Ilchester subgroup of the Corinian Saltire School, but is not discussed in detail. Loose tesserae from the infill of a hypocaust indicate the former presence of a mosaic in another room. |
