The excavation of the church of Khuraybat as-Suq, performed by the Department of Antiquities, was initiated in order to preserve the monument and evaluate its conservation. The excavation evidenced a badly preserved mosaic pavement decorated with geometric elements of interlaced circles and cross shaped elements. |
