A Roman villa called the “Terrace House” is being excavated on the south-western slopes of Kaletaşı Hill. The villa comprises 6 rooms situated north of a 33 m-long atrium decorated with mosaics. Two of these rooms are decorated with opus tessellatum and a third is paved with an opus sectile floor. The villa also has a private bath, the apodyterium of which was decorated with opus tessellatum and the tepidarium with opus sectile. |
