Excavations on Keber Tepe (Keber Hill) in the territory of Doliche revealed two high-quality mosaic pavements. The first pavement was situated close to the surface and therefore not well preserved. The second pavement, however, lies below a thick deposit layer which enabled both the mosaic as well as its architectural context to be preserved (fig. 12). |
