As a result of rescue excavations in the ancient city of Germanicia, the mosaics that were found were removed and transferred to the local museum by the Kahramanmaraş Museum Directorate. In the first transfer project, the back of the mosaic panels was consolidated with a support of cement-based mortar. In our project, the concrete support behind mosaics was cleaned, and the mosaics were prepared for installation and exhibition in the Kahramanmaraş Museum. (D’après le résumé des auteurs.) |
