Excavations of House A. Mention of a fragmentarily preserved mosaic pavement in Room 23. Excavations at the so-called Stadium Street. Both the east and west porticoes are paved with opus sectile floors. In some areas, the entrance to shops is decorated with opus tessellatum mosaics. Also excavations of the latrina, situated east of the Stadium Street. The vestibulum opening to the latrina is paved with a fragmentarily preserved polychrome mosaic. The border of the pavement is decorated with geometric and floral motifs, whereas the central panel bears a wild goat. Probably 3rd c. A.D. |
