Research on decorated architectural fragments of the Early Christian and Byzantine periods in the Muğla, Bodrum, Milas, Fethiye and Marmaris Archaeological Museums. Numerous architectural elements are decorated with wine scrolls which is also a common motif in mosaics. An inscribed (ΙΑΦΟ) fragment of an architectural element is decorated with a kantharos, and a similar depiction is known from the mosaics of the Early Christian baths in Yalıçiftlik, Bodrum. |
