The rescue excavations in Perre revealed a building paved with mosaics. In the southern part of the pavement, poultry (chicken, rooster), animals of prey (crane, duck) and domesticated animals (goat, sheep) are depicted. In the northern part of the mosaic, a flower and birds placed in geometric panels are surrounded by a meander border. The central design comprises birds and various wild animals (wild boar and deer). |
