P. 52, 92, notes 14-18: The mosaics discovered in three localities in the territory of Naissus: on the City Field (a representative building with an octagonal room intra muros), in a partially explored building, which the author (S. Drča) characterised as a villa rustica at the foot of Mt.Vinik and in Mediana. S.D. characterised the mosaics of Mediana as classicist work from a little known workshop, and the presentation of a river deity, albeit with some reserve, as the personification of the River Hebrus. |
