A brief review of the conservation work done in the archaeological site by P. Lazaridis. At first he employed a group of visiting conservators (of wall paintings, marbles and mosaics) from the Centre for the Conservation of Antiquities, and later created and staffed conservation laboratories on the site of Boeotian Thebes, which are still functioning. |
