Mozaiklerin Korunmasında Temel Kriterler

A brief look at some interventions of active and passive preservation of mosaics (both at archaeological sites and in museums) shows the correct and incorrect approaches for mosaic preservation. Understanding and determining these criteria is not only important for restorers and conservators, but also for professionals such as art historians and archaeologists as well as excavators and the museum personnel responsible for the preservation. Indeed, these individuals and institutions directly share to a large degree responsibility for preservation. (Excerpt from the author’s abstract.)
