The Corpus of Late Antique and Early Christian Mosaics in Bulgaria […] is a comprehensive presentation of all Late Antique and Early Christian mosaics located on sites in the present Bulgarian State. The project is carried out by the Working Group of Christian Archaeology at the Institude for Studies of Ancient Culture at the Austrian Academy and the Institute of Art Studies at the Bulgarian Academies of Sciences. The Corpus covers 88 lemmata, one for each mosiac or mosaic complex, respectively, and is based on reports of the archaeological findings. (Excerpt from the author’s abstract.) |
