The work presented here tries to make a synthesis of the remains of mosaics belonging to Late Antiquity that have become known within Portuguese territory in recent years and to study them in a historical sense. The second part of this work aims to focus on the mosaics in Mértola, with special emphasis on a set from the baptismal complex and the discoveries that have recently been made in the Mausoleum.
