résumé de l'AIEMA | :
The “House of the Medusa” is a Roman domus located in Abelterium (in the present-day region of Alto Alentejo, Portugal), a Roman civitas of Lusitania.
A figurative mosaic is found in the triclinium, a room that could be reached through a garden oriented southeast-northwest, and it was most probably entered through two main doors, which were used by the dominus and his guests. Besides these, there were other, narrower, secondary entrances, located symmetrically in the corners of the room. These entrances, as well as the aforementioned cubicula and other rooms, could be reached directly through the corridors. |
