The purpose of this study is a classification of the floor mosaic materials, the evaluation of their use in the church of Küçük Tavşan Adası (Bodrum, Turkey), and the location of the quarries where they originated, in accordance with the survey carried out by Tuscia Universiy of Viterbo (Italy). It aims to create an integrated system of visual and micro-chemical analysis for the study of different materials (pigments, mortars, marbles and other stones).
